Seville, the Andalucian capital, is the sunniest city in Europe (nicknamed the frying pan of Europe) and the birthplace of flamenco. From feng shui perspective, this city full of chi or charge, if you like, requires full attention. Seville is the fourth biggest city in Spain (after Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia).
Spiritual feng shui
The 3rd largest cathedral in the world, Catedral de Sevilla (outsized by St Peter’s in the Vatican, Rome and Aparecida in Brazil). The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, better known as Seville Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic. It was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, along with the adjoining Alcázar palace complex.
Metropol Parasol is the world’s large sculpture. Locally, known as Las Setas ie the mushrooms is 150m x 75m x 28m. Conceived by a German architect Jürgen Mayer this sculptural wooden structure with an archaeological museum, and the rooftop walkway offers also a great viewpoint. Originally, this bold design was intended to offer shade like a tree (remember Seville is the sunniest city in Europe).
The energetics of food
Churros, Sevillian’s speciality, are probably not the healthiest food you’ll ever eat but it’s worth trying. Of course, you can always go for tapas, traditional Spanish dish.
The fastest journey time by train from Seville to Valencia is 3 hours and 54 minutes.
